About the role

Here's your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of a global leader in a brand new role. As the Operational Finance Lead for Reckitt, you're not just crunching numbers; you're fuelling decisions that enhance our operational excellence and profitability. You'll work closely with the heart of our supply chain, providing insights that drive strategic actions and improve our gross margin. With your expertise, we can streamline our supply and procurement process, yielding high-impact results that resonate across our global market. Your responsibilities

-Business partner with operational and business support managers to prepare budgets and forecast, proactively highlight any risks and opportunities. Work with managers to challenge variance analysis and drive efficiencies and improvements.

-Responsible for coordination of Hull conversion cost to report costs and provide detailed explanation on key variances to plan, forecasts latest views and flash.

-Review, analyse and issue weekly reports on labour for Hull site and mid-month updates for all areas and monthly reports with detailed variance analysis.

-Productivity lead for Hull site and responsible for tracking in year savings for all improvements initiatives and proposals.

-Support the on-going development of the Operational Finance team; 5 direct reports.

-Responsible for review and challenge on material variances for waste, stock write off’s and bill of material changes. To be included in weekly KPI report with sufficient detail and analysis.

-Support on evaluation of related Capital Expenditure to ensure that return on capital expenditure is maximised, and to manage the Capital expenditure process in conjunction with the Engineering team.

The experience we're looking for

-Fully qualified accountant; CIMA (preferable)

-Experienceworking knowledge of key manufacturing topics – Material and Manufacturing Variances, Fixed Costs reviews etc, labour analysis

-Proven experience of managing a team

-Strong IT skills, covering SAP based accounting systems and Excel

-Good interpersonal skills
