Job Description

The Finance Operations Business Partnering (BP) team is seeking a Finance Manager (m/f/d) to be a key member of the worldwide Retail BP team. This individual will be based in London or Munich and will primarily support finance operations focusing on order-to-cash (O2C) and procure-to-pay (P2P) processes.

This role involves partnering with in-country business and finance leadership across Europe to support daily operations, drive business integration and expansion projects, and lead cost-out initiatives aimed at reducing defects and waste. The position also focuses on improving Finance Operations to generate free cash flow opportunities for the company.

The successful candidate will join a team of high-caliber finance professionals in Munich and London, working closely with Operations teams primarily located in India and Slovakia.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and manage a multi-billion Finance Operations portfolio.
  2. Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Retail, Retail Finance), external vendors, suppliers, customers, and other finance teams to drive improvements, efficiency, and decision support.
  3. Ensure accountability for Fin Ops processes affecting business relationships.
  4. Address vendor and customer issues requiring business decisions.
  5. Lead business and operations reviews to identify expansion opportunities, changes in business trajectory, risks, and working capital management.
  6. Develop project roadmaps and collaborate with multiple teams to implement long-term solutions that enhance productivity.
  7. Design scalable processes and procedures, leveraging AI where appropriate, to accommodate business growth in volume, complexity, and geography.
  8. Work cross-functionally to identify and capitalize on process, technical, and human interface opportunities, measuring success and impact.
  9. Contribute to the annual Operating Plan, including global headcount forecasting and detailed budget analysis.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles, including accounts receivable or payable.
  • Proficiency in applying financial performance indicators (KPIs) for analysis.
  • Experience in building financial and operational reports to support decision-making.
  • Background in process automation and analysis for improvements.
  • Participation in continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
