Salary: £31,500 – £37,500

Hours: 37 hours per week with an early finish on Friday

We are working with an established business based in Shrewsbury looking for a Finance Officer to join on an initial 4-month contract.

You will be responsible for:

• Monthly budget monitoring and analysis – revenue (salaries and non-pay) and capital.
• Regular reviews with budget holders regarding budget status.
• Cost reviews in service areas.
• Analyzing budgets and spend to identify efficiencies.
• Developing project-specific budget monitoring.
• Reconciliation of reserves and budget movements.

Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate should have experience with the above duties and be confident to start promptly. Availability to start on 7th or 14th July 2025 is required.
