Job summary

A leading company in Poole is seeking a Finance Officer to join their small finance team. This role offers great opportunities for growth and experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, cashflow forecasting, and assisting with month-end processes. Job Title: Finance Officer

Bond Williams Accounting and Finance are exclusively recruiting a Finance Officer for our successful Poole-based client.

Reporting To: The Head of Finance

You will be working within a small finance team and have a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-moving business. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Bank reconciliations on Sage 50 accounts
  2. Assisting suppliers with queries & payment details, making supplier payments
  3. Reconcile day books from internal system to Sage 50 accounts
  4. Allocate payment receipts on internal system
  5. Cashflow & Forecasting
  6. Monthly credit card reconciliations
  7. Assisting the Head of Finance with month-end processes
  8. Prepayments & Accruals
  9. Assisting with other accounting/admin projects
  10. Supporting other departments as necessary
  11. Resolving pricing and product issues
  12. Undertaking training and development to update and maintain competencies

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with Sage 50 is essential
  • Proficiency in Excel
