A leading company is seeking a Placements Finance Officer to join their team in Kensington. The role involves managing financial activities related to placements for children and young people, ensuring efficient use of resources. The successful candidate will work hybrid, with responsibilities including financial management, reporting, and supporting social workers. This is a 3-month contract with potential for extension.
Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Placements Finance Officer for our client a local government organisation in Kensington.The successful candidate will work in a small placements team, serving two councils, which commissions placements for children and young people aged 0 – 25 in a range of settings including foster care, residential children’s homes, residential parent and child assessment centres and semi-Independent units.They will manage a range of activities relating to financial payments, management information and processes and take responsibility for financial management within teams and projects, including savings delivery, and ensures value for money and the efficient use of resources.This role is initially a 3 month contract with the possibility to extend.
