Job summary

A Bristol-based independent school is seeking a Finance Officer to join its busy finance and bursary team. The role offers a broad mix of transactional finance, fee administration and budget support, working closely with senior operational staff.

You will manage ledgers, process invoices, perform reconciliations, support fee billing and reporting, and assist with audits. Prior school finance experience or an AAT qualification with strong finance experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in school finance office is desirable.
• Strong finance experience in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase and sales ledgers.
• Process invoices and payments.
• Carry out bank reconciliations.
• Support fee billing.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
