Job summary

English National Ballet is seeking a Finance Officer to join our Finance team and support an efficient, accurate finance service across the organisation. The role offers exposure to a broad range of transactional and financial accounting activities, including accounts payable, cash management, reconciliations and reporting.

Working with colleagues across ENB, you will develop finance expertise and contribute to improving systems, processes and ways of working.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial information and processes, using Excel for day-to-day activities.
• Ability to learn new processes and workflows quickly.
• Strong organisation skills and deadlines-focused work style.
• Attention to detail with accurate data entry and checking.
• Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and contacts.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of an efficient, accurate finance service across ENB.
• Manage accounts payable and employee expenses with proper procedures.
• Support banking, cash management, accounts receivable and administration.
• Prepare reconciliations and schedules, resolve discrepancies.
• Assist month-end and year-end processes including journals and reporting.
• Provide information for audits, compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Build professional relationships with stakeholders to deliver responsive service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
