A local family business based in Carlisle is looking for a talented Finance Officer to join their small team on a permanent basis. The role will report to the Finance Manager and has arisen due to significant business growth.
Your new role:
As part of a small, driven team, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in preparing management accounts, prepayments, accruals, and reconciliation work. This is a newly created, varied, and hands-on role suitable for someone looking to develop within a business and plan for succession. The role offers flexible hours from 3 days to full-time.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous technical accounting experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of month-end processes, accruals, and prepayments
- Excellent IT and communication skills
What you'll get in return:
- Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 (pro-rata), depending on experience
- Permanent part-time role, with flexible working pattern from 3 days to full-time
