Finance Officer (12 month FTC)

Looking to make the most of your summer and step into a new role this September? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading NI organisation as a Finance Officer on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. You'll play a vital role in a dynamic finance team within a fast-paced and highly professional environment.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Finance Managers, you'll support a wide range of financial activities essential to the smooth running of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and reconciling purchase invoices and ensuring timely payments
  • Supporting PO-related tasks and preparing monthly accruals
  • Managing credit control, including setting credit limits and following up on outstanding payments
  • Maintaining customer and supplier records
  • Reconciling the sales ledger and assisting with journal entries
  • Performing bank reconciliations, assisting with cash management and payroll checks
  • Supporting financial reporting and general administration tasks
  • Undertaking other duties aligned as required
About You

We're looking for someone who brings professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong grasp of financial processes.

Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

  • Part-qualified (AAT/IATI/ACCA or similar) or 2-3 years of relevant finance experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Access NI check will be required
