Due to company growth, we’re adding an Accounts Assistant to our Finance team. Our team is focused on industry-leading standards without a stereotype of the traditional finance environment.

About the role

As an Accounts Assistant in our efficient Finance department, you will be exposed to every corner of our unique, rapidly growing company. Your day will be varied, providing opportunities to hone current skills and develop new ones.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing support across the Finance team, dependent on requirements
  • Assisting with annual audits, monthly management accounts and all necessary schedules and reconciliation
  • Partaking in monthly SOX audit preparation (training provided)
  • Assisting with trade receivables and trade payables processing and reconciliation, including resolving queries
About you

As part of a team involved in every area of the business, you must be able to communicate effectively with others, both internally and externally. To be successful, you will thrive in a target-led environment, eager to learn best practice and not be afraid to ask questions. It is essential you:

  • Work well as part of a team while taking responsibility for your own workload
  • Are flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a growing company
  • Hold an AAT Level 2 qualification
  • Can use Excel, including basic formulas

Although not essential for the right candidate, it would be desirable you have:

  • AAT Level 3
  • Experience with Sage 200
  • Audit experience (internal or external)
  • Advanced Excel skills
