A public sector organization in Stafford seeks a Finance Officer to ensure the accurate processing of Adult Social Care charges. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service. This role offers a hybrid work environment with both office and home responsibilities, ideal for detail-oriented individuals passionate about social care.
Adult and Children's Financial Services (ACFS) support the delivery of the following Staffordshire County Council priorities:
ACFS is a pivotal part of the Adult and Children Social Care Pathways, responsible for facilitating and overseeing the payment to providers of Adult and Children's Social Care and for the collection of client contributions in accordance with Care Act 2014 and local policy.
Adult Social Care covers people receiving care in their own house (non-Residential) or people who are living in a care home (Residential).
We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic people to join ACFS as Finance Officers. It is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, fast paced department.
PLEASE NOTE: We have 5 Finance Officer vacancies as noted below:
4 x Permanent full-time 37 hours per week.
1 x Fixed term 12-month contract, full-time 37 hours per week (secondment).

This role is hybrid working where you will need to attend our office in Stafford (currently one day a week plus occasional meetings) and more often, working from home.

An understanding of social care and charging would be beneficial but isn't essential as training will be provided, as well as ongoing support and development.
