Full-time, 35 hours per week

The Centre for Cardiovascular Science (CVS) is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join the busy CVS Finance Team, providing support to a £10M research programme for the Centre for Pesticide Suicide Prevention whilst also providing CVS-wide finance support.

The Opportunity:

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

The salary for this post is £34,132 to £39,355 per annum.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience in a finance role within the Higher Education sector with sound understanding and experience of research grants post award financial management.
  • Experience preparing monthly budget reports
  • Ability to work independently, to use initiative and prioritise own workload
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically Excel.
