Finance Officer | 8415 | Maternity Cover until 30 September 2026 | 37 hours/week | £38,626 - £40,476 p.a. (Scale J) | County Hall

Norfolk County Council is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join the Budgeting and Accounting Team. The role involves delivering high-quality budgeting and accounting services across the organization.

Norfolk County Council provides countywide services to residents and collaborates with local businesses, voluntary organizations, and other authorities to ensure excellent service delivery.

The Budgeting and Accounting Team supports various services to ensure accountability and value for money. The role is part of a dynamic, transformational environment, initially supporting Adult Social Care.

Key responsibilities include supporting daily budgeting and accounting needs and participating in transformational projects. The candidate should have a background as a Finance Officer or similar, be AAT qualified or part-qualified at CCAB level, and experienced in management and financial accounting, data analysis, and supporting budget holders.
