Job summary

A leading financial firm in the City of London is seeking a Finance Officer to maintain and reconcile Nostro accounts. The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, assist in budgeting, and act as a primary contact for client requests. A degree in finance and ACCA progress are essential.

cer Financial are working alongside a bank who are based in the City of London. In this role as Finance officer, you will maintain all Nostro accounts and ensure they are reconciled daily. Follow up on all outstanding items, process invoices and staff reimbursements, maintain financial procedures & systems, handle budgeting, management accounts, and record keeping.

The Responsibilities of a Finance Officer Include:

  • Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets
  • Generating monthly reports
  • Managing records and receipts
  • Processing invoices and staff reimbursement forms
  • Providing customer service to clients
  • Being a key point of contact for other departments
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with projects and financial and accounting tasks as required

The Successful Finance Officer Will Have:

  • An educational background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business
  • Attained or working towards an ACCA qualification
  • Experience in reconciling accounts and working in a banking or financial services organization
  • Ability to manage telephone conversations with internal and external contacts
  • Proficiency in producing Excel reports
