Job description

Homeworker with Designated office in Newton Abbot

Salary: £29,817 per annum

36.25 hours per week, 12 month fixed term contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Finance Officer with experience of working in a financial role or environment to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will be home based with occasional requirements to attend our office based in Newton Abbot. You will be required to work from the office in your first month for training.

Within this role you will work as part of the financial accounting team supporting the accountant to ensure that all transactions and control account reconciliations are carried out promptly and accurately. Activities of the role include; purchase ledger administration (purchase order and non-purchase ordering system), managing weekly payment runs, sales ledger invoicing and credit control, and managing bank account accounts including regular reconciliations.

Is this you?

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Banking functions
  • Experience of reconciliations and controls
  • Recent and relevant experience of working in a financial environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated to ensure completion of tasks
