Role: Finance Officer
Salary: £30,000 Plus
Location: Glasgow City Centre

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant and supportive environment? We’re looking for a Finance Officer to take ownership of a vital role managing a diverse range of income streams. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a collaborative finance team, where your expertise will help shape and improve financial processes, ensure timely and accurate income collection, and support clients through financial assistance programs. You’ll enjoy a varied workload, internal cross-collaboration with both internal and external stake holder management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding debts within defined thresholds, andfollow theescalation protocol when necessary
  • Manage monthly direct debit collections and maintain a full audit trail of all transactions
  • Reconcile income from various payment methods (bank transfers, cards, cash) using the organisation's financial systems
  • Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation
  • Support the Finance Manager in processing financial assistance applications
  • Prepare financial reports and statistical data for senior leadership and governance bodies
  • End-to-end invoice processing and reconciliations, ledger analysis, and other delegated financial tasks


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Accounts Receivable, credit control, andinvoice processing experience
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a similar financial or administrative role
  • A proactive and dynamic mindset with the ability to drive positive change and deliver tangible results
