Job Responsibilities

Location: Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire

(Part-time: 3-4 days per week with flexible hours)

We seek an experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Team, reporting to the Finance Director. The role involves handling confidential information, so security screening (BS 7858) is required. We prefer local candidates as training will lead to office key holder responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of accounts experience
• AAT qualification or equivalent
• Strong accounting principles knowledge
• Sage 50 experience
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem-solving and administrative skills
• Good communication skills

Key Duties

• Daily stock reconciliation and query resolution
• Preparing sales invoices
• Credit control
• Using Sage 50 software for various accounting tasks
• Raising sales invoices and managing sales ledger
• Checking and entering supplier invoices, managing supplier queries
• Recording expenses, managing receipts and mileage claims
• Handling insurance renewals and vehicle administration
• Providing administrative support across departments
• Answering calls and taking messages
• Other duties as assigned by the Finance Director

Salary and Benefits
