What is Obinex?

Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Web3 startup on a mission to develop a fully gamified centralized exchange that redefines user engagement in the crypto economy. We're building an ecosystem designed for scalability, compliance, and real-world financial utility — backed by NFTs, smart reward systems, and innovative tokenomics. We are currently in a high-growth phase, preparing to close our first funding round. In this early stage, compensation includes a competitive equity package, with the potential for a full-time salaried position upon completion of the Seed round. This equity-based agreement will be governed by a formal contract with clearly defined vesting and cliff terms.

What will you do?

As our Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading Obinex’s financial strategy and governance during a critical phase of fundraising, product launch, and rapid scaling. You will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, investor readiness, and operational efficiency across our multi-market operations.

Responsibilities:

• Own and continuously refine Obinex’s Financial Model, P&L, cash flow, and cap table in coordination with the CEO and investors.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting across departments (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Compliance).
• Collaborate with the legal team on SAFE agreements, ISAFTO token sale structures, and investor documentation.
• Build, manage, and present detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders (Board, LPs, VCs).
• Support tokenomics design and modeling of revenue streams: transaction fees, token listings, staking mechanics, launchpad commissions, and premium memberships.
• Monitor burn rate, optimize runway, and advise on treasury strategy, including reserve-backed token issuance.
• Ensure full integration of Web3 accounting practices, including revenue recognition on blockchain events and NFT-based rewards.
• Liaise with audit and compliance teams for financial transparency and regulatory alignment in multiple jurisdictions (VARA, ADGM, BVI, etc.).
