Job description

Finance Manager - Victoria, England, London

Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per year

Location: Victoria, London - (Hybrid)

FryerMiles is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team based in Victoria, London. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director, serve as the technical lead on accounting and controls, and participate in various ERP and BI implementations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead on technical accounting areas including acquisition integrations, corporation tax, and goodwill.
  • Ensure BI tools produce necessary reports with proper controls.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements, including group consolidations.
  • Liaise with external auditors during year-end processes.
  • Collaborate with the FD to ensure accurate and timely reporting and implementation of accounting policies.
  • Lead initiatives such as legal structure simplification and migration of accounting from acquired entities.
  • Ensure strong financial controls across all operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and cash/bank operations, improving processes.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, training, and development for the accounts payable team.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
  • Experience in a large accounting practice.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with best practices.
  • Ability to succeed in a PE and acquisition environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and organized attitude.
  • Knowledge of VAT and Corporation Tax.
  • Other ad hoc requests as required.
