A leading retail company in the UK is looking for a tax reporting specialist to join their team on a 12-month fixed term PAYE contract. Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing tax reporting in a new ERP system.
• Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana.
• Strong understanding of tax law and reporting, especially Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs, Excise).
• Experience with UK and international tax reporting, ideally in a retail environment.

• Act as the key liaison between external suppliers and the M&S Tax team.
• Define and resolve tax reporting queries with third-party partners.
• Identify and implement improvements in tax reporting processes.

What You’ll Do

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include:

Proven experience implementing tax reporting in a new ERP system

Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana

Strong understanding of tax law and reporting, especially Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs, Excise).

Experience with UK and international tax reporting, ideally in a retail environment.

Proficiency in accounting software and tax reporting systems.

Strong project management and communication skills.

Ability to simplify complex information and influence business partners.
