Job summary

TPP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Business Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across a membership-focused organisation. You will own the annual plan, provide robust financial insight and model income streams including subscriptions, events and publications.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage a small team of Finance Business Partners, partner with senior leaders, and deliver clear financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Experience modelling income budgets of £20m or similar
• Experience leading and developing a small finance team
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent financial income modelling and advanced Excel capability
• Not-for-profit experience desirable
• Experience with income streams such as membership subscriptions, events, publications or deferred income beneficial

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across the organisation.
• Manage, coach and develop a small team of Finance Business Partners.
• Take responsibility for forecasting and modelling income budgets of ~£20m+, with robust assumptions.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Lead quarterly forecasting processes and support annual budget planning.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted business partner.
• Provide challenge and support to budget holders and senior leaders.
• Manage and develop members of the finance team.
• Support management of multiple income streams and financial reporting
