Qualifications

Finance Manager - leading sports business

ACA, ACCA or CIMA or QBE

Based: West London

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits

A leading UK sport agency - a vibrant, successful organisation that is looking to grow significantly in the next couple of years

Finance Manager - About the role

Working alongside the Directors of the business, duties will include:

  • Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the finance department
  • Managing the finance function of a number of different entities
  • Managing bank payments, reconciliations and foreign currency accounts
  • Production of all quarterly statutory accounts and tax computations
  • Production of budgets and forecasts
  • Cost analysis
  • Working with HMRC and producing VAT returns
  • Ad hoc tasks as delegated by the Board

Finance Manager - Candidate requirements:

  • Degree educated, and ideally a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Strong "Qualified By Experience" candidates will also be considered
  • 4-8 years of proven finance experience
  • Previous experience in a sports related business / hospitality or events is advantageous
  • A dynamic and ambitious, get things done outlook
  • Strong system skills and knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, QuickBooksetc
  • An excellent team player with a confident, outgoing personality
  • A genuine, passionate interest in sport is essential (rugby, football cricket especially)
