Job summary

Butler Rose Ltd is recruiting an experienced SME Accountant / Finance Manager for an established specialist business in London. The role combines accounting, month-end close, AML/KYC, VAT, and compliance with exposure to high-value royalty payments.

You will own a broad finance workload—from day-to-day accounting to month-end, reconciliations, invoicing, and royalty payment administration—within an SME environment. ACCA qualification is highly preferred; strong AML/KYC knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• ACCA qualification preferred.
• Hands-on accounting experience in SME/owner-managed environment.
• Experience with AML/KYC and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting through month-end close.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, supplier invoices and expenses.
• Handle client invoicing and settlements with high-value transactions.
• Oversee AML/KYC, risk assessments and compliance documentation.
