Job summary

Costa Coffee is hiring a Finance Manager, Property, to shape investments in the store estate and drive returns. You’ll partner with Property, Construction and Proposition leaders to provide commercial insights and robust financial appraisals across refresh and proposition programmes.

You will lead planning, reporting and governance for capital spend, translate complex data into clear recommendations, and influence senior stakeholders across the UK & Ireland.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with up to 1 year PQE.
• Strong financial modelling and data analysis.
• Confident communicator with credibility to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting multi-site retail or hospitality environments.
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Property, Construction and Proposition leaders to provide financial insight for investment decisions across Costa’s store estate.
• Build and evaluate business cases to ensure commercial returns and financial targets are met.
• Monitor capital investment programmes and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Lead financial planning, reporting and governance for significant capital expenditure.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights to support business growth across the UK & Ireland.

Join our UK&I Finance team as Finance Manager, Property and play a key role in shaping Costa Coffee’s investment in its store estate. As a trusted finance business partner, you’ll work closely with senior Property, Construction and Proposition leaders to provide commercial insight, robust financial appraisals and performance analysis across our store refresh and proposition programmes. You’ll help ensure investments deliver strong returns, maintain effective control of capital expenditure and translate complex financial information into clear recommendations that support informed decision-making across our UK&I business.

What you’ll do:

Who you are:

It’syour unique ingredientswe’reinterested in:

• A newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with up to 1 year post-qualification experience and a strong commercial mindset.
• Proven ability to build financial models, analyse complex data and turn insights into clear business recommendations.
• Confident communicator with the credibility to influence and challenge senior stakeholders across the business.
• Experience supporting multi-site operational, retail or hospitality environments, with a strong understanding of business performance drivers.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with excellent Excel skills and a passion for delivering high-quality commercial finance support.
