Finance Manager - Program Finance, JP Store Finance

We are hiring a Finance Manager in JP Store Finance to partner with teams across the Japan Retail organization on strategic initiatives. In this role, you will provide financial planning, analysis, controllership, and insights to enable data-driven decision-making and long-term growth. Key job responsibilities

As Finance Manager for JP Store - Retail Programs, you'll be a crucial thought partner to the leadership team, supporting business growth through strategic financial management. Your role involves evaluating investments for long-term strategies, providing data-driven insights, establishing control frameworks, synthesizing data into compelling presentations for senior leadership, managing shifting priorities, leading long-term planning, and overseeing cost efficiency impacting JP Store's P&L.

The ideal candidate

possesses exceptional finance and data management skills, strong leadership abilities, and is comfortable influencing business decisions through analysis and data. You should excel at cross-functional partnerships, manage multiple deliverables efficiently, and communicate clearly with leaders and peers. We seek someone who is self-driven, has a bias for action, dives deep into critical details, and partners effectively across functions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field
  • 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
  • Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
  • Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
  • Language requirements: Business fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of experience identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, root cause analysis, and creating/implementing escalation plans
  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations with proven impact
  • MBA or CPA
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation
