Morrisons in Bradford is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Commercial Finance team, partnering with Trading to drive profitability through insightful analysis and robust financial challenge.

You will shape trading decisions, develop category strategies, and build strong stakeholder relationships to embed finance in day-to-day decision making while providing forward-looking scenario modelling.

Finance Manager – Commercial Finance (Cafe & Produce)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our Commercial Finance team, supporting the Trading function as their business partner.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving performance across our trading categories by providing insightful analysis, challenging assumptions, and supporting decision-making with robust financial expertise.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with the Trading team to provide financial insight and analysis on sales, margin and promotional performance.
• Identifying risks, opportunities and trends, helping shape trading decisions to deliver growth and profitability.
• Building strong relationships with commercial stakeholders to ensure finance is embedded in day-to-day decision making.
• Supporting the development of category strategies by providing forward-looking analysis and scenario modelling.
• Driving continuous improvement in processes and analysis within Commercial Finance

About you:

• A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), with strong commercial acumen.
• The confidence & ability to challenge non-finance stakeholders to deliver the right end-results
• A strong communicator, able to build trusted relationships and influence non-finance colleagues
• Resilience and the ability to adapt in an ever changing environment
• Confident in analysing complex data, with the ability to turn it into clear, actionable insight
