Job summary

Heathrow’s Finance team is seeking a Finance Manager in the Capital Investment Portfolio to ensure every pound invested delivers value for passengers, airlines and the wider business. You’ll provide financial insight and governance on multi‑million‑pound projects, working with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Programme Delivery to prioritise investments and manage risk.

You’ll develop robust business cases and investment appraisals, monitor performance, and ensure governance

Qualifications

• Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in capital investment, project finance, or portfolio management.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present clear recommendations.

Job Description

Join Heathrow’s Finance team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of the world’s busiest airports. As a Finance Manager within our Capital Investment Portfolio team, you’ll ensure that every pound we invest delivers maximum value for passengers, airlines, and the wider business. This role is central to Heathrow’s strategy of sustainable growth and operational excellence, helping us make informed decisions on projects that transform the airport experience.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Programme Delivery to provide financial insight and governance on multi‑million‑pound capital projects. Your expertise will help prioritise investments, manage risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory and commercial requirements. Your role will involve

These Skills Are Essential

• Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.

Working Location

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
