Job Description

As the Part Time Finance Manager based in Hammersmith, West London you will be responsible for

Reporting to the Finance Director of a small finance team you will be responsible for

  • Preparation of company management accounts, budgets and financial statements with the Finance Director
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • VAT returns
  • Posting month-end, weekly and year-end journals
  • Purchase ledger, weekly payment runs
  • Sales ledger: transfer pricing calculations, raising invoices
  • Payroll: ensuring monthly payments are made on time, issuing tax forms (P45s, P60s, P11ds etc.), maternity/paternity and sickness pay, onboarding new staff on the system
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ad hoc analysis / projects

The Successful Applicant

  • Experienced Accountant or Finance Manager but management experience isn't required
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Degree Educated; a STEM degree is desirable but not essential
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills
