This Glasgow-based business has a global reach, working with a broad network of clients, collaborators, and institutions across the world.About the RoleAs the organisation continues to evolve, it seeks a hands-on and detail-focused Finance Manager to lead the finance function. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to deliver strong financial oversight and strategic input across all key financial areas, including artist or project payments, cash flow forecasting, VAT compliance, payroll, and international transactions.This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a thriving and creative environment where finance plays a key role in enabling innovation, growth, and global partnerships.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly management accounts and cashflow forecasts
- Lead on budgeting, project costing, and variance analysis
- Manage international banking (multi-currency) and compliance with VAT and sales tax regulations
- Oversee payroll, pensions, and internal controls
- Maintain Sage 50 and manage ledgers, reconciliations, and payment runs
- Supervise and support a Finance Assistant
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation and wider external stakeholders
About You- You are a proactive, adaptable finance professional who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and building relationships across all levels of an organisation
- You’ll bring a commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate financial insight into action
Key Attributes- Part Qualified, Qualified accountant or QBE with relevant experience
- Strong communicator – able to work with a range of personalities including creative professionals and high-net-worth individuals
- Organised, resilient, and confident in navigating unfamiliar situations
- A team player with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
Remuneration & Benefits- Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
- Pension: 8% total (5% employee, 3% employer)
