Job description

Finance Manager – Part–Time

HYBRID

Salary: 40,000 – 45,000 per annum Pro–rata (21 hours a week). Hours can be flexible, either 3 full days a week or 4 hours a day over 5 days.

You must be a driver for this opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
  2. Process sales and purchase invoices.
  3. Manage cash flow.
  4. Produce management accounts.
  5. Manage weekly/monthly payroll.
  6. Perform bank reconciliations.
  7. Handle credit card reconciliations.
  8. Prepare VAT returns.
  9. Manage credit control.
  10. Provide financial insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience in a finance role, preferably within an SME.
  • Attention to detail and strong data analysis abilities.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Xero software or similar.
  • Proficient with MS Office packages.
  • AAT qualified (essential).
  • Part-qualified or qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA (desirable).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance role.
