Job summary

A recruitment firm is looking for a Part-Time Finance Manager near Great Dunmow. The role involves maintaining financial records, managing payroll, and providing financial insights. Finance Manager - Part-Time

Location: Near Great Dunmow

HYBRID

Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum Pro-rata (21 hours a week). Hours can be flexible, either 3 full days a week or 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.

You must be a driver for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
  • Process sales and purchase invoices.
  • Manage cash flow.
  • Produce management accounts.
  • Manage weekly/monthly payroll.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare VAT returns.
  • Manage credit control.
  • Provide financial insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a finance role, preferably within an SME.
  • Attention to detail and strong data analysis skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Proficiency with MS Office packages.
  • AAT qualification is essential.
  • Part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance role.
