We have an excellent opportunity Remediation Finance Manager to join us at an exciting time.
The objective of the Santander Finance division is to manage every financial aspect of Santander in the most effective way, maintaining optimal relations with investors, regulators and supervisors. We are the engine that drives the areas and businesses from a financial perspective, to make Santander the best and most responsible open financial services platform and to help people and businesses prosper.
Working in the Other Income & Provisions Team, as the Remediation Finance Manager you’ll be responsible for driving provision modelling and partnering with the Project Managers within the Remediation team, to provide all Finance support requirements.
The difference you’ll make.
Providing professional Finance advice and support to stakeholders within the Remediation team.
Liaising with business stakeholders to resolve any issues / queries and overcome any potential issues, communicating key conclusions to senior management.
Working with Remediation Data Management team to ensure reporting alignment and support.
Leading monthly meetings to walk through performance with Project Managers and update assumptions as required.
Managing all finance aspects for the Regulatory & Remediation Project team including reporting against budget
Coordinating the budget for relevant cost centres with BAU costs

What you’ll bring.
A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / equivalent) with strong spreadsheet and analytical skills with superb attention to detail
Experience working within a financial services
It would also be nice for you to have.
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
T he ability to identify and drive the use of best practice to deliver improvement and development
An ability to implement solutions to address changes in regulatory requirements and a track record of embracing and delivering change
Experience of mentoring, coaching and developing members of staff
What else you need to know.
This is a full-time permanent role offering flexible working between home and the office. You can be based out of either our Milton Keynes, Bradford or Carlton Park office.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
£6,000 car allowance per year
