Job Description:

We’re looking for a Finance Manager, Management Accounts (Qualified Accountant) to join us in Bradford.

This is a hybrid role – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.

As part of the growth of our Management Accounts team at Liberty Shared Services, we are expanding and looking for Finance Managers to lead teams, workstreams, and projects across various group and external brands.

You will support and work closely with our teams in Bradford and across the wider business to deliver accurate reporting and analysis to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing month-end accounting activities, preparing journal entries, analysis, and providing insights with recommendations for process improvements.
• Managing stakeholders and supporting decision-making processes.
• Implementing internal controls, preparing reconciliations, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulations.
• Driving process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience as a Finance Manager, Qualified Accountant, or Audit Manager with Management Accounts background.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.) and post-qualification experience.
• Experience coaching less experienced colleagues.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience working within large, complex corporate structures and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Financial systems proficiency (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
