Job summary

Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager (NHS AfC Band 6) in Wakefield to join the Management Accounts Team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality management accounting, financial reporting and budgetary support for corporate services and projects.

The post requires CCAB part qualification or equivalent, with strong analytical skills, and the ability to work within tight financial timescales. 37.5 hours per week, fixed-term for maternity cover.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in finance or accounting.
• Qualified Accountancy certificate (CCAB or equivalent).
• Evidence of continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Communicate complex financial information to a range of stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with budget holders across the business.
• Provide financial management support including management accounting and reporting.
• Assist Head of Finance in statutory financial responsibilities and governance.
• Provide training and supervision to junior finance staff.
