Additional Resources Ltd. is seeking a Finance Manager / Management Accountant to join a family-run care provider delivering residential, nursing, respite and specialist dementia care.

The role oversees day-to-day finance operations and furnishes accurate financial information for decision-making. The position is full-time on a 12-month maternity cover with a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits, and it emphasizes cost control, payroll, VAT, HMRC submissions and robust financial reporting

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in finance management or management accounting.
• Experience with payroll, VAT, pensions and HMRC submissions.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly management accounts and group financial reports.
• Complete bank, balance sheet and control account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring and cost control.
• Manage supplier invoices, payment processes, resident and local authority invoicing, and credit control.
• Support fee and supplier contract negotiations.
• Process monthly payroll, HMRC submissions, VAT returns and pension submissions.
• Review expenditure and provide financial analysis to senior management.
• Maintain accurate financial records and strong financial controls across the business.
