Job summary

Lusona Consultancy (Group) Limited is seeking a Finance Manager in Lanarkshire to oversee a portfolio of projects and manage an accounts assistant, ensuring financial management and compliance.

You will prepare management accounts, VAT/CIS returns, year-end statutory accounts, cash flow forecasts, and revenue reporting to shareholders, with a focus on process improvements and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience reconciling ledgers and preparing management accounts.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial records across ledgers and systems for accuracy.
• Maintain accruals, prepayments, and amortisation workings.
• Prepare management accounts with variance analysis against budget.
• Supervise VAT and CIS returns, invoices and payments.
• Oversee cash book and loan schedule maintenance.
• Prepare statutory accounts and support year-end audits.
• Liaise with auditors and tax advisors for computations.
• Present finance reports to shareholders at project board meetings.
• Ensure compliance with loan facility agreements and deliverables.
• Maintain financial models and budgets/cash flow forecasts.
• Take minutes at project board meetings.
• Process Companies House filings.
