Finance Manager | Innovative Wellness & Boutique Fitness Brand | London (Hybrid)

Harmonic is proud to be working exclusively with one of the UK’s most exciting boutique fitness and wellness brands to hire a Finance Manager to support their growing operations.

Our client is a design-led, experience-driven multisite business with two high-performing London sites and a fast-growing online offering. With a loyal customer base, a strong digital platform, and new initiatives driving performance, the business is scaling steadily with turnover expected to increase significantly over the next 12–18 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused Finance Manager to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial team. You will work closely with the CFO and CEO/Founder, taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations, leading the month-end close, and helping to improve financial processes to support scale. This role offers great visibility, variety, and the chance to help shape a modern, data-driven finance function in a high-growth brand.

The Role:

• Partner with the CEO and department leads to provide financial insights and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Support the CEO with financial modelling for new site openings, pricing strategies, and investment decisions
• Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with the creation of board reports
• Analyse site-level performance, identifying trends, margin improvements, and opportunities for operational efficiency
• Partner with department heads to track KPIs and support strategic decision-making across marketing, retail, and digital channels
• Manage cashflow forecasting and support supplier payment runs
• Own the month-end process including bank reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system (currently Xero)
• Support VAT returns and liaise with external accountants and auditors as required
• Help develop financial systems and processes to ensure scalability and efficiency

• What We’re Looking For (essential):

  • Finalist level or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or similar which is their preference)
  • Strong experience in transactional finance and general accounting
  • Confident managing month-end responsibilities and preparing management accounts
  • High level of accuracy and strong reconciliation skills
  • Proactive, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  Desirable:

  • Experience in the fitness, wellness, retail, or hospitality sectors
  • Familiarity with Xero or similar cloud-based accounting tools
  • Exposure to multi-site businesses or fast-growing start-up environments

  Salary & Benefits:

  • £55,000–£65,000 + benefits
