Job summary

An established industry player is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in North West London. This role involves supporting commercial decision-making and overseeing the day-to-day finance function. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance within an SME, with strong skills in accounting, payroll, and financial analysis. You will be responsible for producing management accounts, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Qualifications

Job description

Finance Manager – North West London £60-70,000 per annum

Our client, a property investment company based in North West London, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the business in its commercial decision-making alongside the responsibilities for the day-to-day running of the finance function of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Producing the management accounts and the consolidated accounts for a group of 25 companies
  2. All accounting functions including invoicing, journals, purchases, payments, and reporting
  3. Payroll processing for 30 staff
  4. VAT
  5. Banking and payments, cashflow
  6. Budgets, cashflows, and financial analysis
  7. Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
  8. Correspond with HMRC, banks, solicitors, accountants, and lenders
  9. Ensure all properties are registered for council tax and utilities
  10. Manage accounting software
  11. Manage IT for the office
  12. Oversee company office needs
  13. Working closely with the external accountants and providing any relevant information for the year-end statutory accounts

The ideal candidate:

  1. Experience of working in a finance role in an SME business ideally
  2. Ideally ACCA/ACMA/ACA qualified/part-qualified or QBE
  3. Good attention to detail
