Job summary

Sitka Recruitment Limited in South Wales is seeking a senior finance professional to lead the day-to-day finance function, report to the Finance Director and manage a small team. The role offers broad exposure across reporting, controls, budgeting and business partnering.

You can come from practice, industry or not-for-profit, fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), and you will contribute to improving systems and processes while upholding the organisation's compassionate culture and purpose.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting skills with a sound understanding of financial controls and reporting.
• Experience of statutory accounts and external audit.
• Good experience of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
• Experience of managing, supervising or developing finance colleagues.
• Confident in working with non-finance stakeholders and providing insight and challenge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance function and manage a small team.

The Job

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll lead the day-to-day finance function and manage a small team.

Person Specification

• Fully qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Strong technical accounting skills with sound understanding of financial controls and reporting
• Experience of statutory accounts and external audit
• Good experience of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
• Experience of managing, supervising or developing finance colleagues
• Confidence working with non-finance stakeholders, providing insight, advice and constructive challenge
• Natural relationship builder with clear, confident communication skills

Salary & Benefits
