Job summary

eNL Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for an established, growing business in the East Midlands. You will lead the finance function, drive commercial financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.

You will oversee month-end, budgeting, cash flow and reporting, develop the finance team, and collaborate with senior management on growth initiatives while maintaining strong controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Experience in a Finance Manager or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience managing finance teams.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced Excel and finance systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the finance department.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.
• Prepare year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor financial performance and provide commercial recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and improve financial systems, controls and reporting procedures.
• Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
• Manage, mentor and develop finance team members.
