Morgan Financial Search has been exclusively retained by this fast growing, highly respected PE backed Professional Services firm based in Central Manchester.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created hybrid Finance Manager role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Qualified Accountant (or possibly Finalist) on their upward career trajectory to develop broad hands-on financial reporting responsibility as well as to support the firm's exciting growth strategy including Acquisitions deal involvement.

This will be a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days WFH.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage and develop a small well-motivatedFinance team.


\t

• Oversee the efficient and timely execution of all day to day Finance transactions.


\t

• Develop financial processes and systems in line with the ongoing growth and development of the firm.


\t

• Production of monthly management accounts with insightful analysis/commentary.


\t

• Support the CFO in compiling Board packs as well as timely response to specific financial information and business performance requests from the PE funders.


\t

• Assist in the annual Budgeting process and rolling Forecasts.


\t

• Support the CFO in the compilation of the year-end statutory accounts.


\t

• Support the CFO to appraise and execute potential Acquisition targets, including due diligence and post-integration.

• Overall, to support the CFO to develop a robust and added-value Finance function in line with the firm's exciting ongoing organic and acquisition growth strategy.

Candidate profile:

• A professional and assured high potential Qualified/Finalist Finance professional, keen and ambitious to take thisnext Finance Manager level positive career step.

• Possess broad hands-on breadth of financial reporting experience in your career to date, likely in an SME environment in either Industry/Commerce and/or Practice.


\t

• Outgoing personality, capable of liaising effectively with non-finance managers and a range of senior stakeholders.
