You'll work closely with the Glasgow office, gaining hands-on experience across the full spectrum of transactional finance. What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee purchase/sales ledgers, cash books, loan schedules and ensure accurate reconciliations
  • Maintain accruals, prepayments & amortisation schedules
  • Prepare management accounts, including budget variance analysis
  • Lead VAT & CIS return submissions
  • Supervise invoice processing & cash book maintenance
  • Manage statutory accounts, audits & financial reporting
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors & key stakeholders
  • Present finance reports to shareholders & board members
What We’re Looking For:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (essential)
  • At least one year post-qualified experience (essential)
  • Experience working in a professional finance environment
  • Confidence in board-level interactions (experience desirable, but not essential)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset with a drive for process improvement
