£55,000 to £65,000 + Bonus (As a guide up to 10k) + Benefits

THE COMPANY:

We’re partnering with a Private Equity backed fast growing hospitality SME business located in London that is experiencing significant growth both organically and by acquisition.

As part of their growth, reporting to the Finance Director, they now seek an experience Finance Manager/ Management Accountant to join in a ‘hands-on’ position to bring inhouse both transactional and reporting activity from the external practice.

THE FINANCE MANAGER / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

1. Reporting to the FD, in a Finance Manager (non-supervisory) role, where you’ll undertake hands on responsibility for day-to-day finance.
2. Initially to bring the month-end finance activities inhouse from the external practice, implementing effective processes, procedures and controls.
3. Coordinate month-end, quarterly and year-end close processes including all HMRC submissions.
4. Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company can meet its financial obligations.
5. Develop and implement financial strategies inline with objectives and prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
6. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
7. Oversee the preparation and management of the annual budget, reporting on budget performance, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
8. Implement cost-control measures to optimise financial performance.
9. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
10. Overseeing the person responsible for the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
11. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
12. Collaborate with department heads to support operational and strategic initiatives.
13. Advise senior management on the financial implications of business decisions.

THE PERSON:

1. Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified, however, exceptional Qualified By Experience, Part Qualified or Finalists will be considered.
2. Must have solid experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role.
3. Strong knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, ideally (not essential) with experience using Xero.
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
6. Ideally with experience in the Hospitality Sector.
