Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. in Newquay is hiring an experienced Finance Manager for a full-time, permanent role circa £50k. You will report to the directors and lead a small finance team, contributing to growth and high standards of financial discipline.

You will produce monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, and P&L and balance sheet reports; manage aged debtors; oversee payroll; complete VAT reporting; and ensure a robust end-to-end finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA or AAT or proven by experience.
• Experience producing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Experience with payroll and VAT reporting.

Reporting to the company directors and working with the senior management team, you will take responsibility for:

• Producing monthly management accounts

• Completing VAT reporting
• Ensuring the smooth running of the end-to-end finance function
• Managing and developing a small finance team

Ideally, you will hold a recognised professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA), though candidates with a full AAT qualification or who are qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply.
