Are you a strategic finance leader with a passion for capital investment and business partnering? Do you thrive in a complex, regulated environment where your insights drive performance and shape long-term investment decisions?

We are seeking a finance manager/finance business partner to lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making across a major capital programme. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing robust financial insight and driving commercial excellence.

This is a temporary position so do require someone immediately available. The contract will be on an initial 12-week contract but is expected to last 6 months as a minimum. This role can pay from £40-£45 on a PAYE basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to director and senior leadership teams, challenging assumptions and promoting financial discipline.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals across business partnering, project accounting, and financial controls.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts, budgets, and actuals, ensuring financial integrity and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide high-quality financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance commentary.
  • Drive continuous improvement in capex forecasting and planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, reporting standards, and audit readiness.
  • Champion a culture of commercial awareness and insight-driven decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in capex finance business partnering and capital investment environments.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI).
