I am excited to be working exclusively with a family-run SME based near Wrexham, undergoing rapid growth in their field.

This company is looking for a new Finance Manager to support their hands-on finance team and help drive the company's progress.

As the second in command in the accounts department, this is a clear career path to becoming the Head of Finance, allowing you to shape the finance function.

This role offers various benefits, including a negotiable salary of up to approximately £55k, flexible hours, hybrid working for the right candidate, pension scheme, and opportunities for progression towards FD designate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including forecasts, budgets, and cash flow.
  • Business partnering with operational teams.
  • Collaborating with budget holders to provide insightful, value-added reporting aligned with business activity and strategy.
  • Managing the fortnightly payroll.
  • Handling VAT returns.
  • Leading projects from development to implementation with clear project plans.
  • Performing other ad hoc tasks as required by the finance team.
