Job description

Finance Manager role for Energy Transition business focusing on Infrastructure.

Your new company

A scale-up, pre-revenue Energy Transition business, focusing on infrastructure. The company has a clear USP in the EV Charging space and is looking to expand significantly in the next few years, following a multi-million pound fund raise and several large-scale off-take agreements across the UK.

Your new role

This role will report to the Financial Controller and will lead an Accounts Assistant currently at the early stages of ACCA. With commercial off-take agreements secured, the role forms part of the growth agenda for the company as they build robust processes to support growth.
Duties

  • Ownership of financial and statutory reporting in accordance with FRS102
  • Work with operational budget holders to support in 5-year company plan.
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Liaison and management of outsourced tax function.
  • Ad hoc and ongoing project work to develop growth drivers of the company
  • Implement consolidation process
What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will be newly or recently qualified, looking to work in an ambitious, high-growth business in a role that will give fantastic upside growth potential, but also needs the rounded attitude of being hands-on with process improvements. It would be great to have had accounts preparation experience, whether from practice or industry.
