Job summary

SLR Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced EMEA Finance Manager to join its Management Accounts team. The role focuses on employment cost reporting, financial reporting, and cross-border operations across EMEA, with leadership responsibilities and a mix of UK and international work.

You’ll report from Stoke with hybrid working and periodic travel to London. The role offers career progression within a private equity-backed environmental consultancy, with a broad scope and multi-entity

Qualifications

• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills required.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced EMEA Finance Manager to join our established Management Accounts team, supporting high-profile operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa within our fast-growing, private equity-backed environmental consultancy.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis and control across multiple jurisdictions, with a particular focus on employment cost reporting - one of the organisation’s most significant cost bases.

Based from our Stoke location, with minimum 1-2 days per week in the office, there will be a requirement to work from the London office at least once per month.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Finance, HR, Payroll, Operations and regional teams, contributing to a dynamic, acquisitive environment with opportunities for cross-border exposure.

About You

As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), you will also have strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting, along with:

• Experience analysing large and complex employment cost bases
• Strong understanding of balance sheet control and reconciliation processes
• Experience working across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
• Proven ability to manage and develop team members
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desirable

• Experience within a private equity-backed or acquisitive organisation
• Experience operating in a multi-country EMEA environment
• Knowledge of lease accounting standards
• Experience supporting integrations following acquisitions
• Experience within professional services, consultancy, engineering, environmental or related sectors
