Job summary

Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust in Kirklees and Calderdale is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the MAT's day-to-day financial operations and ensure financial performance aligns with the Business Plan.

You will support the DCEO/CFO and Head of Finance, manage statutory audits, promote high professional standards, and collaborate with School Business Managers to deliver best value for money.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial management in school, college, public or private sectors.
• Attention to detail and highly organised.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations of the financial functions of the MAT.
• Lead on financial matters to ensure the MAT's financial performance and link decisions to the Business Plan.
• Assist with statutory external and internal audit requirements.
• Promote high professional standards within the finance function and support School Business Managers.
