Job summary

Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust in Kirklees and Calderdale is seeking a committed Finance Manager to oversee and implement operational finance functions. You will support the DCEO/CFO and Head of Finance, managing day-to-day financial support and operations to ensure best value for money.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations of the financial functions of our MAT.
• Under the direction of the DCEO/CFO and Head of Finance, lead on financial matters to ensure the MAT’s successful financial performance and to ensure financial decisions are clearly linked to the MAT Business Plan.
• Assist the DCEO/CFO and Head of Finance with statutory external and internal audit requirements.
• Promote the highest professional standards of business ethos within the financial function.
• Support and inspire the School Business Managers.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to play a key role within the Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust based in Kirklees and Calderdale. The Trust currently has nineteen schools and is expanding.

The CEO and DCEO/CFO are seeking to appoint a committed, organised and enthusiastic Finance Manager to manage and implement the operational finance functions within this caring and welcoming academy community. They will support the DCEO/CFO and Head of Finance and manage the day-to-day financial support and operations that enable the MAT to operate effectively, efficiently and compliantly ensuring best value for money.
